The topics available to put into your programme range from leadership skills, motivation, managing performance, creating vision and strategy, empowerment, culture change, coaching and mentoring, creating and developing teams and developing team wellbeing and resilience.  And there’s probably some we’ve forgotten too!  We can offer you a blended approach to ensure flexibility.

Here’s an example of  a programme we have designed for one of our clients.

Duration: 6.5. days over a 3-6 month period.

Programme Outline

Pre course activity to include e-learning, line manager engagement, introduction to course mentor, psychometrics and identifying a specific business issue to work on during the programme.

Module 1 – Who do you think you are? (2 days)

This session focuses on the organisational context for leadership and explores roles and responsibilities, leadership styles, authentic leadership in the specific organisation, emotional intelligence, self-awareness, trust and personal brand.  Residential session with guest speaker from the Leadership team to discuss expectations and experience of leadership.

Inter module activity includes 360 feedback, e-learning about team development and line management and mentor discussions.

Module 2 – Inspiring Excellent Performance (2 days + 6 weeks after module 1)

This session focuses on team performance including productivity, wellbeing and stress management.  Other topics include delegation and empowerment, motivating team and managing performance through effective feedback and coaching.  After dinner speaker to discuss the benefits of a coaching culture in the organisation.

Inter module activity includes e-learning around stakeholder management and the production of a stakeholder plan.  Also line manager and mentor conversations to produce case study materials for use in module 3.

Module 3 – Working Collaboratively (2 days + 6 weeks after module 2)

This session focuses on the skills of collaboration and includes topics such as managing difficult conversations and conflict, stakeholder management and effective influencing and negotiation skills and a business simulation exercise involving case studies provided by the learners themselves.  The final elements of the programme focus on producing a Personal Leadership Development Plan to identify behavioural change required to ensure business success.  This includes setting up review meetings and understanding how to record and measure return on investment.

Review and evaluation session – 1 day + 3 months after module 3

Prior to this session the 360 exercise is repeated and results shared with participants.  The session then involves each participant sharing their progress and key results with Directors from the business, quoting the tangible benefits realised.
