Colin helps people unlock their potential through leadership development, team building, mentoring, project management, planning and effective communications. He is an NLP Practitioner and a mentor for armed forces veterans through the Help for Heroes charity.

Experience

Colin has a wealth of practical leadership experience developed over 24 years as a serving Officer in the Royal Engineers on deployments around the world where he designed and delivered innovative and challenging training programmes for individuals and teams. Since leaving the Army in 2012 he has worked in civil engineering, delivering major projects which aim to improve skills, employment and education provision within the industry.

Style

Colin’s style is calm and supportive and includes a healthy dose of self-deprecating humour. He gets particular pleasure seeing his delegates having ‘light bulb’ moments – a regular occurrence!

Interesting facts about Colin

He is a family man with four teenage boys and a spaniel called Harvey! Colin can speak fluent Nepali which he learnt whilst serving with the Gurkhas. He is a keen supporter of Help for Heroes and both Leeds United FC and the Leeds Rhinos rugby league team.
